Enable EU Withdrawal Consent Globally

Filemonk already has a great EU withdrawal consent feature, where customers are shown a confirmation before downloading their digital product and must expressly agree to begin receiving the digital content immediately and waive the applicable withdrawal right.

Currently, this feature appears to be limited to customers located within the EU.

We would really appreciate an option to enable this consent step for all customers globally, regardless of their location.

For EU-based merchants, there are situations where the merchant needs to apply this consent process consistently to every purchase, including purchases made by customers outside of the EU. At the moment, there does not seem to be a way to configure the existing withdrawal consent popup this way.

Ideally, this could simply be an additional setting such as:

Withdrawal consent visibility

• EU customers only

• All customers

The existing functionality already works very well, so this would mainly require allowing merchants to choose when the popup is displayed rather than changing the consent flow itself.
