Notify when any variant comes back in stock, but not for ALL

Some customers don’t care what color, some do, unlike the post “Send notification if any variant of product is restocked” where just any variant coming in stock sends them, it would be great if a customer could select which option. They are the ones that care, so if we have a product with 18 colors and all are out of stock, a customer could pick a specific one, or a “let me know when any”. And if only half of them are out of stock, they can pick any of the out of stock options or “let me know if any of the currently out of stock options”.
