PDF Template Automation

Idea #1:

It would be extremely helpful to upload PDF templates for the digital item and place the code or license key on that template per order. Using data points to place the order number and license keys. This way, the license key is different per order (one-time-use codes) but placed on an actual file.

If store owners could provide the font files they want used for this, the key could even use a barcode font so it can be scanned on site. We manually fill a lot of orders, and it is time consuming. Being able to add custom data points to a pdf template would be amazing.

Idea #2:

An alternative idea would be that instead of uploading one time use codes, we uploaded files, but they would be used the same way.

For example, when uploading codes currently, we place them all in FileMonk, and the system ensures we never provide duplicates. If we instead used a data import to place the codes and then upload the files (PDFs) to FileMonk, this would prevent manual fulfillment as well, but the identifier would be the number assigned to the file. (Itemname101 then itemname102) The system would mimic the one-time-use code function, only giving one file per item ordered matching that name/type.

This would save us several hours each year, and our store could automatically fulfill orders, but right now we do it manually.

This use case could be used for any type of certificate, single-use code item, voucher, or gift card.
