Please add barcode scanning to the POS search

1: POS tile doesn’t filter out only items actually linked to STOQ.
2: POS tile doesn’t easily filter and doesn’t limit available qty when a limit for “selling out of stock” is placed.

3: POS tile doesn’t allow for barcode scanning for easy search

Working with 10’s of thousands of skus, having to search by typing is inefficient when customers are waiting in front of you because of these obstacles.

Even the easiest keyword solution is inefficient.

For example: if I search out “” which is the easiest keyword (which I have to use in the title for it to work, tags don’t count either) I get a bunch of irrelevant results included that have nothing to do with the keyword.

The easiest solution here is to add a barcode input as printed barcodes can be assigned to product titles, skus, barcodes, ISBNs, or whatever the customer needs for search and is a basic function of search in POS (see bottom image).
